Our Work

Agri-Innovation & Impact Project (AGRIIP)

AGRIIP is a bold 10-year initiative to lift 10 million smallholder farmers out of extreme poverty by equipping 10,000 African scientists to co-create climate-resilient, demand-driven innovations. By safeguarding 30 indigenous crops, catalysing 1,000 sustainable ventures, and embedding farmer-scientist partnerships, AGRIIP is building a food-secure Africa rooted in cultural heritage and resilience.

Through its work, AGRIIP contributes directly to key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – including No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Climate Action, Decent Work & Economic Growth, and Reduced Inequalities, while re-imagining African agriculture as a driver of prosperity, sustainability, and community flourishing.
